Like that a woman also observes director of three films K Sharat in his film ‘Seetha Nadhi’.


Another women oriented cinema ‘Seetha Nadhi’ with caption ‘Muddu Manasina Kannadi’ has wafer thin real life story tucked in the script says writer Narendra Kabbinale. He had seen the pathetic life of a rape victim continuing life with her girl child in the society. For this he has added some cinematic calculations. In the film well known television actress Tanuja plays mother of three girl children. Shreya a popular TV actress (remember her role in Halavana Katte Giriyamma TV serial) plays major role. She has acted in over 40 TV serials. Studying in I B.com today is the best known face of the film. Shreya actred in a few Kannada films – she is eying for heroine in the coming days.


When we hear the title ‘Seetha Nadhi’, journalist Seethanadi Surendra strikes the mind. He is no more today. However, this film with shoestring budget of Rs.50 lakhs is produced by Mumbai Kannadiga Sudhakar Shetty (SD Shetty Muniyalu) who is in to Tax and Sales consultant area of business. It was his wish to come to Karnataka and produce a film.


In 25 days K Sharat (his third film – Swamy Sharanam Ayyappa and Neena Bhagavantha) has done shooting in around Seetha Nadi near Agumbe, Hebri, Thirthahalli surroundings. He has compared the river to a woman in this film. Purandar from Mumbai has scored music for four songs.

Ramprasad Guruji, Syed, V Manohar jointly released audio CD of the film at Green House Raj Milan on Saturday evening.
